Anthony Lee Reiners

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Lee Reiners on Sunday, October 6th, 2024.

Tony was born on March 8th, 1969, to Freddie Reiners and Jacqueline Schleusner (Jorgenson) in Waterloo, Iowa. After Tony graduated from Metro High School in Cedar Rapids, he went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in law enforcement.

Tony enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his buddy Tim. He loved music, old Chevy’s, and enjoyed watching the Vikings play.

Tony is survived by his parents, Jacqueline (Roger) Jorgenson and Freddie Reiners, two brothers; Fred (Kim) Reiners of Atkins, IA, Timothy Reiners of Waterloo, and a sister; Kimberly (Randy) Self of Waterloo, and several loving nieces and nephews

Tony was preceded in death by his sister, Michelle Reiners, and his grandparents Fred & Leona Reiners and Frank & Ruth Schleusner. 

Visitation will be held at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories on Friday, October 11th from 4:00-7:00 pm.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 12th at 9:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church in Gilbertville, IA.  Burial will be held immediately after the service at St. Mary's Cemetery in Gilbertville.
