Clarence Wentworth was born June 28, 1929, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Ace and Delia (Olson) Wentworth. He graduated from East High School in 1947. Clarence served in the United States Army during the Korean War while stationed in Germany. He retired from John Deeres after 34 years in 1982, after Clarence married Darlene Fleming, she preceded him in death. He married Marilyn King Hurst, she preceded him in death. Clarence then married Kathy Hill, she preceded him in death. He loved cars, he was a car fanatic. Clarence enjoyed reading, going to the casino, bowling, poker games and football.
Clarence passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023, in Meskwaki, at the age of 94. He is preceded in death by his parents; wives; six brothers, Jack, Donald, Lee, Les, Claude and Eugene and four sisters, Olive Williams, Mildred Williams, Betty Retz and Rosemary Wentworth.
Clarence is survived by two daughters, Cinda Johnson of Waterloo and Danita (Anthony “Tony”) Hemenway of Traer; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and six Great-great-grandchildren.
