Donna M. Cochran (Rehm), 91, of Waterloo, died at home on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, surrounded by her loving family and hospice nurses.

Donna was born on January 30, 1933, in Waterloo, Iowa to Theodore and Fern Rehm. She worked as a secretary for the Waterloo School system until she retired. She married the neighbor boy, Robert Cochran, in 1952. Donna enjoyed boating, motorcycle trips, and listening to her husband play the organ, but mostly, family gatherings. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cochran (January 9, 2021), her son, Stephen Cochran (September 17, 2020), and brother-in-law Henry Kalke (June 22, 2024). She is survived by her son David of Waterloo, sister Marlene Kalke of Nora Springs, granddaughter Jennifer (Colin) Carolus and Nicole Cochran, both of Vinton, Kimberly Cochran of Marengo, Dustin Cochran, and Kirsten Cochran, both of Waterloo. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Austin (Cheyanne) Carolus of LaPorte City, Ryan Carolus, Ashlynn Brown, and Jaxon Cochran of Waterloo, and nieces and nephews.

 As per Donna’s wishes, she has been cremated, being buried with Robert at a later date. Private family services will be held.
