Norma Kleinheksel Williams passed away on December 19, 2024. She was born February 17,1933 in Archer, Iowa to Ruth Hagen Kleinheksel and Clayton Kleinheksel.
She lived in Dunbar, Iowa where she graduated from high school in 1951. She graduated from Central Iowa Business College in Marshalltown. She married the love of her life, Roger Williams. They did not have very many years together, but she had wonderful times with him.
She was hired by Honeywell in Minneapolis, getting in on the ground floor of computers. She continued to work for them in Long Beach, California and Denver, Colorado before retiring. She earned many awards from Honeywell and retired as Senior System Analyst. After retirement she moved to Cedar Falls, Iowa and worked for H&R Block as a tax preparer.
Norma was a generous and giving friend. If you were her friend, you were her lifelong friend. She had so many friends from New York and other states, High school friends and so many more. She was loyal to her church Bethlehem Lutheran in Cedar Falls. She was active in many aspects of the church.
She is survived by 2 sisters, Kaley Martinez and Judy McCarthy plus several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger Williams, her parents, sister Marge Chapman, brother Lyle Kleinheksel, brother Myron and 2 nieces. She lived a long and happy life and will be missed by all of her friends and relatives. A service will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls, Iowa on Saturday, January 18. A remembrance at 10:00 am with a service at 11:00 and a lunch following.
